One poppy for each life lost?
Not nearly enough poppies, sadly.
And yet war rages on today in different forms, but of attrition nonetheless. When is it exactly will we learn the lesson? Fields of poppies is something we don’t have here. Reminds me a bit of our crimson clover in east Texas.
