Hardy spider

spider

Hello there!

This tiny spider has been hanging out in my olive tree for weeks now, happily oblivious to freezing temperatures and snow. It is a colourful and rather acrobatic addition to my garden.

And, for my next trick…

“Imperio!”
Moody jerked his wand, and the spider rose onto two of its hind legs and went into what was unmistakably a tap dance.
Everyone was laughing — everyone except Moody.
“Think it’s funny, do you?” he growled. “You’d like it, would you, if I did it to you?”
The laughter died away almost instantly.

  1. Reminds me of a moment I had walking to school. Someone was waiting at a intersection, and as I was approaching, he totally flipped out and I saw something fly off him. Turned out it was a huntsman (what we australians call a really big spider).

Nice to know that this is not nearly as scary though.

  2. Yup, he or she has personality in buckets.

I know you must be chafing at the bit for the arrival of Spring, with all its photographic bounty in the critter department. I may even think seriously again about a macro lens to help me fill the lengthening afternoons after work…
