Well, the promised snow didn’t arrive. Instead, sleet and yet more rain. So I consoled myself with editing some more images from our wonderful trips in August and October to the Channel Island of Jersey.
Oh yes I agree that bottom one is terrific…. The snow quickly went here Rachael, well not quite completely but I didn’t get a chance to take a single photo … 😦
He he. Yes, the rock is the most obviously photographer -composed shot, the other two being more records of the beauty of this lovely island. And I am delighted to say that I have just this minute arranged to go back there again in July!
Great photos! I especially like the last one, the rock adds alot more interest.
I feel lucky here in Australia, with heat up to the point of bushfires (unfortunately), only inturrupted with the tropical downfall now and then.
Well done!
Kevin
Yes, right about now I wouldn’t mind some tropical heat. Bit bored of defrosting the car every morning in the dark. 😉

Oh dear. But, as I reassured my disappointed children, there’s plenty of winter and potential snow-opportunities to go. 😉
I’ll vote for the bottom one, too. The rock with the vein-like patterns in the sand just suck you right into the scene. Gorgeous!
Thanks, Gunta. Yes, it’s been lurking on my hard drive for a couple of months but I decided to let it out.
Rachael, clearly these are my sort of reflection coast/beach shots are you sure they are not Moray lol
I am sure ;). I suspect Jersey and Moray have a few things in common, but not climate 😉
Well, I was going to pick the rock as well, but everyone else is going that way, and I hate to follow the crowd.
So, my pick is . . . nah, it’s the rock. Nice composition.

Hopefully, the rock is still there.
I wish I could send you some snow. We have plenty (and so a reflecting beach looks perfectly heavenly).
I wish you could too, although I would probably want to send it right back after about two days 😉
Rachael, happy to share some of our snow with you as well. 🙂 Great imagery as always!
Thanks, Tricia. 🙂
