Just because you don’t get the shot you setout to get, don’t stop. Keep looking. Open your eyes and your mind, and you will still get a beautiful image.
I agree. One of the bits of advice I give to new landscape shooters is always to look behind you. Often the better image is there.
Oh yes! I was photographing with a friend once and he never looked behind, always to the front. When we looked at our photos , he wondered if we were at the same place.
