Thanks, Helen. I wanted to take some different shots from my usual nature images. This, and a few more waiting in the pipeline, was inspired by the remains of WW2 fortifications on Jersey. In the thick fog that dominated our trip last week, they became very evocative, if stark, locations. My son, wearing black, was a willing model.
You should do this kind of ting more often.. the style suits you !
Yup, I’d like to see some more of this kind of thing on your blog too. And this is a case of graffiti actually working! The pillboxes on Moreton Island off Brisbane are similarly, if less colourfully enhanced.
