I couldn’t resist sharing more of Burano’s colourful houses, this time from a slightly wider perspective.
Some towers lean rather alarmingly.
Washing billows in the spring breeze.
With no cars, it’s a lovely place to stroll.
And cycling is popular too.
As if all this colour wasn’t enough, it is doubled by the reflections in the canals, of which more tomorrow.
Have to add one more place to my bucket list. A visual festival!
Wow, reminds me of the cities I once built with LEGO 😉 Is your hotel also situated in such a lovely house?
Lovely photographs & such wonderfully vivid colours! 🙂
Fabulous colours – though not sure I’d want to stand to close to that leaning tower!
All that color makes it seem such a happy place!
Stupendous colours, maybe a little too much if you’re more used to muted urban palettes. Irresistible to the lens.
Burano sure is something else, especially if you like colour like me. I was there a couple of years ago, felt like strolling in a childrensbook ilustration!
what a delightful (and colorful) place. People here must be in a perpetually happy mood with all the bright colors around them. What’s up with that leaning tower — it looks dangerous.
